‘Kleedkamer’

In high school, I was never really bullied for my sexuality. Confidence was my best weapon and that has always been the case. The only times I felt awful was in the boys’ dressing room. A room full of teenage boys was the worst place I could be, that’s how I felt. In this – very – short film, I tell my story of feeling alone in that room. The film portrays the way I felt exposed, but also how I wanted to feel and how I wanted to take up space in that room. You might call it a redemption moment, taking up space, that sort of thing.
